Silk rugs
usually have a very precise ‘stiff’ design, but this beauty has a more tribal look. The colours are truly marvellous,
and the condition for its age is excellent.
This gorgeous rug was saved by me on a trip to Belgium where it was on the floor of a flea market being trashed. You couldn’t see any pattern on it as it was so filthy.
